SPARK: Hacking and Securing Your WordPress Website Share:

April 17 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

At the April Lunch and Learn, Paul Wilch, will demonstrate hacking and securing your WordPress website. Paul Wilch has over 20 years of IT experience in the semi-conductor industry with various positions such as “Chiller Technician” and “Supervisory Controls and Data Acquisition” (SCADA) Engineer. He is currently the IS Supervisor at Hawley Troxell and the founder of Project7, whose mission it is to build a community of like-minded people and SMEs who have common interests in cybersecurity and technical computing.

  • How to scan a WordPress website for vulnerabilities.
  • How to read and take action based on the vulnerability report.
  • How to generate a WordPress user list.
  • How to generate a password list.
  • How to do a “brute force” attack.
  • What a hacker can do once they are logged in your WordPress site.
